Still Here’s Five-day Recovery Coach Training Certification Program provides a solid foundation for starting work as a recovery coach. The Essentials course brought you the core competencies of recovery coaching. The Recovery Coach Mastery program takes your skills to the next level. This course is designed for those committed to achieving true mastery in recovery coaching. Through group mentorship led by seasoned professional recovery coaches, participants gain invaluable insight, guidance, and skill development.

Each week, like-minded coaches gather virtually for one hour to refine their abilities, gaining the confidence and preparedness needed to excel in client work. This consistent, focused practice makes a measurable difference in participants' ability to serve clients effectively.

Moreover, this program is a recognized pathway toward achieving your Recovery Coach Professional designation, giving you a clear advantage in the field.

  • Establishing empathy

  • Reflective listening

  • Cognitive dissonance

  • Generative moments

  • Designing a life in recovery

  • Prevention of recurrence (part 1)

  • Prevention of recurrence (part 2)

Exercises

  • Every second week, we dive into Motivational Interviewing drills with an eye on the subject that preceded it.

  • We use breakout rooms, each with a professional mentor coach, to ensure feedback is the best it can be.

  • We do round robins in the bigger room, giving everyone a chance to experience a “real play”

  • We use shorter and longer sessions so all experience real-world scenarios.

Prerequisite

Completing the Still Here Recovery Coach Training Program, CCAR RCA, or equivalent is a prerequisite for enrolment in this class. In addition, you must have started the Recovery Coach Essentials course.

Requirement For Completion

To obtain a certificate of completion, you must attend at least 80 per cent of the courses and at least 80 per cent of the home assignments.
