MBSR Mindfulness

SESSIONS: 8 | WEEKS: 8 | COST: $450+GST

The most scientifically verified mindfulness program, MBSR is shown to reduce anxiety, depression and pain, while increasing focus, productivity and an overall sense of wellbeing.

In these unsettling times of COVID, never has attending to our mental sense of well-being been more important. Two parallel studies published in December, 2020 showed mindfulness practice (specifically MBSR) improved both sleep quality and overall well-being in the face of the current pandemic.

As a means of support in these unsettling times, Still Here is bringing MBSR in live online classes over eight weeks, with a total of 30 hours of instruction. This course is all you need to build a robust mindfulness practice for yourself.

We are holding a free orientation (required for the course) on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Here you will experience some of the practice learn some of the possible outcomes, and find out if this is a good fit for you.


Continuing Education Credits

The Canadian Addiction Counsellor Certification Federation (CACCF) is awarding 20 CEUs for completion of this eight-week course.

Your life is busy, too complicated to squeeze in yet another thing to do. That said, you’d love a break from the mental chatter that dogs you between tasks.

Still Here has you covered.

We have borrowed from growing evidence that immense benefits can be achieved in just four weeks professional guidance.

This highly experiential course takes place each week for two hours.

The delivery includes body scans, yoga, mindful walking, mindful eating, mindful communication, and all the entry points for bringing moment-to-moment awareness into your day.

We borrowed from some of the emerging science showing the most effective way to safely spark a mindfulness practice with the most economical use of time.

This course is delivered online, in the comfort of your own home.
